Connecting forwarded email to a contact
  • jguibordjguibord January 5
A co-worker forwarded an email to me regarding a potential hire and I forwarded it to my batchbook account. I added the individual to my contacts, but because the email was forwarded to me, this communication doesn't show up as activity for this contact. Is there a way to make this association and get this communication linked to that contact?

    Hi,
I'm pretty sure you have to go and edit the communication directly.  Since you've already created the contact, you can just add them as part of the "From" field.

Interesting. I went in to edit the communication details and added the individual to the from field (It auto-completed his name). Then hit save, but it seems not to have saved this. I have tried it now twice and both times, when I go back in, the name is no longer there.

Can you please email us the details about this issue to support @batchblue.com so we can take a closer look at what is going on?
